Students with an issue within the residence halls are encouraged to speak first with their RA.

WNCC requires all students who are student athletes to live on campus. Students seeking an exemption to the residency requirement must complete this form 10 days prior to the start of classes to Residence Life.

The WNCC Housing Application can be found on classlink. 

Below are recommended items:

• Alarm clock
• Laundry basket and detergent
• Pillows, extra-long twin-sized bed linens and blankets (non-electrical)
• Towels and washcloths
• Fan
• Flashlight
• Toiletries
• Backpack and school supplies
• Cleaning supplies
• Hangers
• Flip flops (shower shoes)

The following items are prohibited in our residence halls:

• Candles, incense (or anything else you would burn)
• Electric blankets or bed warmers
• Electric heaters
• Extension cords
• Surge protectors without breakers
• Alcohol bottles. Neither full nor empty bottles are allowed even for decoration.
• Fireworks
• Grills
• Halogen lamps
• Pets (other than fish)
• Waterbeds
• Toaster ovens or other cooking equipment
• Weapons, including paintball guns, hunting gear, BB guns, and knives

Guest hours are limited to 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from noon until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays. Opposite sex overnight guests are not permitted. All guests must be over the age of 18 and submit an ID to the front desk prior to entering the residence hall.

 

Yes! 

 

All students who live on our Scottsbluff Campus must choose either a 14- or a 19-meal plan with their housing contract, allowing you that number of meals per week in Bishop Dining Hall. You may enter the dining hall once per meal for an all-you-care-to-eat salad bar, meal, and beverages.

Meal plans begin each Monday morning and commence on Sunday evening. Meal plans are not transferable to other individuals and are lost if not used by the end of the meal week.

The Sidney Campus does not offer a meal plan.

Yep! All of our residence halls have laundry facilities on-site and are coin operated.

 

WNCC strives to provide a safe living environment. Resident Assistants are available at our front desk from 9:00 p.m. until midnight every day, and a campus security officer is available at the front desk through the night. We still encourage our residents to exercise caution by locking your doors. It is also recommended to make sure any personal belongings are covered by your and your parents/guardians’ homeowner’s insurance policy.

We do not enforce a curfew. But, we do strongly recommend that you carry your student ID at all times. Residents entering the building after 9:00 p.m. will be asked to present their ID in order to verify residency.
