Biomedical Research (Pre)
Do you have a love for science and find enjoyment in deciphering how things work? Do you want to help people live healthier lives? As a biomedical researcher, you’ll have a fulfilling career orchestrating crucial research directed at improving healthcare and treating and preventing disease. Most biomedical researchers have a Ph.D. or are medical doctors, so an associate degree in Biomedical Research can give you the strong foundation in biology and chemistry that you will need to pursue this field.
Our Pre-Biomedical Research program is located at the Scottsbluff Campus, and is designed to give you foundational knowledge in science and general education courses needed to obtain an associate degree and to transfer to a biomedical research program at a four-year institution.
Our program gives one student each year the opportunity to be accepted into the Nebraska Biomedical Research Program (INBRE) and attend one of the six participating Nebraska universities.
