About the Program

WNCC’s electrician apprentice program will get you closer to your career goal of becoming a well-paid, in-demand, electrician by providing you with 180 hours of instruction and hands-on training curriculum certified through the National Center for Construction Education & Research.

Through the electrician apprentice program, you begin your journey to becoming a highly skilled tradesperson able to work in various types of environments by studying basic and electrical safety, electrical circuits, electrical theory, the National Electric Code, electrical theory, conductors and cables, residential electrical services, electrical test equipment, and basic electrical construction drawings.

Becoming a licensed electrician is a four year, on-the-job process. Get a jumpstart by successfully completing our program at the Scottsbluff campus.
