General Studies - Language and Fine Arts

Unsure what career pathway you want to study? General Studies courses will give you a liberal arts education to learn fundamental subjects and critical-thinking skills while you explore your options.

Whether you just graduated from high school, or were in an unfulfilling profession, finding a career you want pursue is a big decision. We can help! WNCC’s General Studies and General Studies with a Language and Fine Arts emphasis allow for flexibility and exploration into what career you might want. In our program, you’ll receive a balanced education in a variety of subjects working toward your associate degree, as well as exposing you to the many options available.

WNCC’s General Studies and General Studies with a Language and Fine Arts emphasis area are designed to give you a well-rounded education so you can follow a general course of study in liberal arts or fine arts. You may want to pursue this degree if you wish to only attend two years of college, are transferring to WNCC with several credits, or if you want to transfer to another institution, but need a broad range of coursework in your freshman and sophomore years.
