Information Technology
Bring your love of computers and your inquisitive mind into the innovative, imaginative, and challenging career of Information Technology.
If you are intrigued by computers and enjoy trouble-shooting, tinkering, and problem solving with them, working as an information technician will provide you with a creative, diverse, and ever-changing landscape to build a career you’ll love.
At WNCC, we offer four core programs in Information Technology to choose from. All of our instructors have industry experience with up-to-date certifications, and they regularly attend development trainings to stay current on the latest trends. Our small class size, hands-on labs, and knowledgeable instructors generate a real-life learning experience. All of our classes are taught on-campus and online.
We offer NASA fellowships, which will provide you opportunities to program and work with robotics, drones, remote control aircraft, and other devices. The WNCC Math & Science Club is open to all WNCC students that participate in an annual robotics competition.
Our program will prepare you for an entry-level position in the IT industry upon graduation. If you wish to continue your studies, you can transfer to a four-year institution to study toward a bachelor’s degree.
