Physical Therapy (Pre)

Physical Therapists are confident, nurturing, empathetic individuals who listen and communicate well. If this sounds like you, as a physical therapist you can make a positive difference in people’s lives.

As a physical therapist, you will help people in a one-on-one setting prevent, manage, and recover from bodily injuries. Depending on which occupation you wish to pursue, your time in college will be anywhere from four to eight years. In return, you’ll have an in-demand career, knowledge of the newest advances, and a choice of workplace environments, including being able to run your own practice. You will use evidence-based, hands-on practices to evaluate people’s needs, assess their pain levels, and help them heal.

Offered at WNCC’s Scottsbluff Campus, our pre-physical therapy emphasis area will give you the basic background needed for admission into a school of physical therapy. The courses you will study is designed to be applicable to other related programs, allowing you to expand your academic options upon graduation.
