Help build safer and more efficient products, aid athletes to find their motivation, build better communication tools for businesses and their employees. Unlike the limited view of the clinical psychology of the past, today’s psychology majors have many different career pathways to explore, including clinical. Having a profession in psychology also offers you the ability to run your own business and the flexibility to live and work anywhere.
This major will advance your knowledge of behavior and give you a foundation in liberal arts through classes such as science, mathematics, language arts, social science, and foreign language. You will also be able to apply the experience you acquire in the field to your future training or work in the health professions.
WNCC’s Psychology emphasis area is offered at all three of our campuses and is designed to give you the background you’ll need for a liberal education, as well as knowledge of a wide variety of subgroups within this multifaceted discipline. Upon graduating from the program, you will be able to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
