Every student’s situation is unique. So we treat you uniquely.

Navigating the financial aid process is daunting and can seem never ending. We strive to simplify the process and help you understand the options available.

First things first. You’ll want to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using WNCC’s school code of 002560, so we can determine your level of need. If you are an active member of the military or a veteran, please refer to our FAFSA Guide for Veterans and Active Duty Military.  You can then sign and obtain your FAFSA through studentaid.gov.

If your FAFSA is selected for verification, you will be contacted by Inceptia, which will expedite the process.

Then, let’s schedule a time to visit. We have financial aid associates on-hand to answer questions or walk you through every step of the process. Ultimately, we’ll provide clarity and present all of your financial aid options. We’ve also compiled a number of resources for your use.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no such thing as too many questions when it comes to financial aid. We understand comprehending the processes, deadlines, and lingo can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. We’re here to help whenever you get stuck. However, we’ve pulled out some questions we frequently receive.

Disbursement Updates

WNCC must ensure that precious financial aid dollars go to eligible students who are fulfilling their obligations to receive those funds. Both the college and the aid recipient share the responsibility to make this happen. Please read and keep this information. It contains important information about the dates and processes that need to be known in order to receive funds.

Financial Literacy Program

Financial literacy is an essential life skill, and is particularly important for college students who have more financial opportunities than any generation before. Therefore, we have launched a CashCourse Financial Literacy Program, which contains comprehensive non-commercial information to help students make informed financial decisions.
