Cougar Council is the student governing board for Western Nebraska Community College. Officers and representatives are elected annually by the student body to be the direct liaison between the College and its students.

Cougar Dance Squad performs dance routines at WNCC athletic events throughout the year. The squad also hosts its annual Mini Cougar Dance Camp, which invites young dancers to learn and perform routines at a college game. All members must audition.

Cougar Pride is a student group at WNCC that is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. Beyond community building, Cougar Pride actively advocates for LGBTQIA+ issues within both the WNCC campus and the broader surrounding community.

Dante's Inferno is the mens acapella club. Meeting regularly to sing, learn and perform musical numbers together creating a fun environment.

This club is open to players interested in competing in League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, and Valorant.

His Hill exists to network students with peers and area professionals through weekly gatherings and monthly large events. The group strives to provide a sense of home, community, fellowship, and future opportunities on campus and in surrounding areas with a focus on living and serving as followers of Christ.

The Motorsports Club provides students with interests in automotive technology with opportunities to become involved in the WNCC Applied Technologies programs. Motorsports Club members are encouraged to participate in recruitment efforts.

The purpose of Mu Alpha Sigma Chi shall be to promote interest in, to stimulate study and research in, and to explore career options in mathematics and science.

The National Society for Leadership and Success is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. Students are selected for membership based on academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally-recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

Phi Theta Kappa is a premier honor society recognizing the academic achievement of students at associate degree-granting colleges. The organization promotes leadership and service and provides an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals.

Residence Hall Council is the student-run governing body at WNCC, which serves students living on campus through education, engagement, and leadership.

Shirley Tempos is WNCC's women's acapella singing club. This club is open to students from all majors across campus, and is entirely student-run. They create a fun environment to learn and perform music, with performances taking place on campus, in the community, and on tour.

The Theatre Club provides students the opportunity to cultivate, inspire creativity, and obtain experience in artistic expression through theatrical activities.

The United Leaders for Cultural Diversity serves as an advisory board for diversity and inclusion efforts. The organization plans and hosts diversity related activities and events on campus.
