The purpose of Mu Alpha Sigma Chi shall be to promote interest in, to stimulate study and research in, and to explore career options in mathematics and science.

Phi Theta Kappa is a premier honor society recognizing the academic achievement of students at associate degree-granting colleges. The organization promotes leadership and service and provides an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals.

Residence Hall Council is the student-run governing body at WNCC, which serves students living on campus through education, engagement, and leadership.

Cougar Council is the student governing board for Western Nebraska Community College. Officers and representatives are elected annually by the student body to be the direct liaison between the College and its students.

The Muslim Students’ Association is a college-based association that seeks to promote the understanding of Islam among its members and the general public. The MSA is open to all students of WNCC regardless of religious beliefs, racial background, nationality, or any other affiliations.

The United Leaders for Cultural Diversity serves as an advisory board for diversity and inclusion efforts. The organization plans and hosts diversity related activities and events on campus.

Cougar Dance Squad performs dance routines at WNCC athletic events throughout the year. The squad also hosts its annual Mini Cougar Dance Camp, which invites young dancers to learn and perform routines at a college game. All members must audition.

The National Society for Leadership and Success is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. Students are selected for membership based on academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally-recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

The purpose of the organization shall be, first and foremost, to ensure that veterans, active duty personnel, reservists and their families are receiving all benefits entitled to them, and to ensure a contact to readjustment counseling should they feel the need. Secondly, the Student Veterans’ Organization’s purpose is to provide a fellowship of like-minded individuals in order to create a network of students and successful alumni in order to provide professional and leadership development.

The purpose of the WNCC SKillsUSA Student club is to assist members in developing leadership abilities and skills through participation in educational, vocational, civic, recreational and social activities. We emphasize the importance of continuous education consistent to the needs of the individual and the requirements of his or her chosen occupation and afford the opportunity to compete in skills contests with other colleges.

Powerline Construction & Maintenence students gather to promote healthy activities and serve Alliance through community service.

This club is open to Criminal Justice majors, minors, or anyone interested in the field of criminal justice. The purpose of the club is to engage students in the development of criminal justice forums, job fairs, community services, and criminal justice academic programs.

His Hill exists to network students with peers and area professionals through weekly gatherings and monthly large events. The group strives to provide a sense of home, community, fellowship, and future opportunities on campus and in surrounding areas with a focus on living and serving as followers of Christ.

Members of Campus Activities Board provide students more opportunities to participate in activities and events to create a more meaningful college experience.

Members of this club promote and carry out the work of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation. This club provides opportunities both scholastically and professionally for students interested in the agriculture industry.

The purpose of the International Student Organization is to encourage student interest in global culture, economy, education, and politics. The organization participates in various activities, projects, and programs to expand the knowledge of the world and its development.

Intramurals provide students an opportunity to complete against their peers in various sports and activities.

This club is intended for students who like to play video games and board games.

Voc-Air Flying Club provides opportunities to Aviation Maintenance students for flight training and other activities

The Speech and Debate team gives students an opportunity for professional development. Students experience growth in a variety of areas that contribute to their future success, including written and oral communication skills, public speaking, critical thinking, cogent organization of ideas and thoughts, increased confidence and poise, networking, and professional decorum to mention a few.

The Motorsports Club provides students with interests in automotive technology with opportunities to become involved in the WNCC Applied Technologies programs. Motorsports Club members are encouraged to participate in recruitment efforts.

The Theatre Club provides students the opportunity to cultivate, inspire creativity, and obtain experience in artistic expression through theatrical activities.
