What We Do

We’re here to help you discover your career pathway, choose your first-semester coursework, and create a plan for your academic and career success. We have an open door and welcome you anytime. To schedule an appointment, call 308.635.6000, use our scheduling portal, or email us.

First-term advising

After being admitted to WNCC, you'll work with an Admissions Counselor to get you started on the right foot. Then, you'll want to set up a first-term advising appointment to help understand how to navigate the student portal, how to register for first semester classes, and how to start your college journey successfully.

Search jobs posted at our school!
College Central

WNCC students, alumni, and community residents have the opportunity to search and apply for jobs posted exclusively for them and other opportunities via national job boards. Additional resources like podcasts and the ability to create a resume or career portfolio can be done in CCN and made available to employers. Employers also have the chance to post unlimited positions and search resumes for free!  

Framing Your Future Podcast
Career Pathways & Advising has teamed up with the Scottsbluff/Gering United Chamber of Commerce to launch a new podcast series on landing your dream career, right here in Western Nebraska! Each episode features local professionals providing tips on how to prepare for a career, hot trends in the area, how to avoid pitfalls, and much more.
