Disability Services
All students have the right to the same educational opportunities. The Disability Services Office at WNCC provides a variety of accommodations to provide equal access for individuals with disabilities. The mission of the Disability Services Office is to problem solve issues relative to disability access, provide equal access for individuals with disabilities, facilitate the development of reasonable accommodations for students, provide services and accommodations to qualified students, and serve in an advisory capacity to faculty and staff.
Through the Disability Services Office, eligible students have access to:
- Auxiliary aids and services (note takers, scribes, interpreters, and electronic textbooks)
- Modifications (extended test times, distraction-free environments, variety of delivery methods)
- Assistive technology (electronic devices, physical modifications of environment)
