Cultural Dimension

United Leaders for Cultural Diversity serves as an advisory board for diversity and inclusion efforts. The organization plans and hosts diversity related activities and events on campus.

Phi Theta Kappa is a premier honor society recognizing the academic achievement of students at associate degree-granting colleges. The organization promotes leadership and service and provides an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals.

Theatre Club provides students the opportunity to cultivate, inspire creativity, and obtain experience in artistic expression through theatrical activities.

Cougar Pride is a student group at WNCC that is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. Beyond community building, Cougar Pride actively advocates for LGBTQIA+ issues within both the WNCC campus and the broader surrounding community.

Bishop Dining Hall on the Scottsbluff Campus is an all-you-care-to-eat facility that offers two made-from-scratch entrees for lunch and dinner every day. Throughout the year, our Food Services department also hosts special events including Soul Food Night, holiday meals, and International Dinners exposing students to authentic food from different cultures.

Diversity & Inclusion We all have the responsibility of fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture at WNCC. The Multicultural & Inclusion department is just one piece of that overall effort. In order to provide more opportunities to further those conversations, the Multicultural & Inclusion department facilitates ongoing programming, training, events, and services to celebrate our diversity, equity, and inclusion.

West Nebraska Arts Center is an organization that encourages expression through the invitation of the full diversity of cultural and artistic gifts in the area.

United Way of Western Nebraska is an organization that works to address the needs of the local community. The organization has a Diversity & Inclusion section.

AIM Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) An organization that offers free services to help people in the Scottsbluff area pursue postsecondary education. The EOC focuses on a diverse population of first-generation students and veterans.

Library Foundation The mission of the Scottsbluff Public Library Foundation is to secure funding through gifts, grants, donations, or other sources in order to bolster the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library; thereby empowering the library to enhance the educational, cultural, and literary programs and services for Scottsbluff and the surrounding communities.
